Watch out for Grass Seeds!
As it's coming into the summer season (though we're not sure the weather has caught up yet) grass seeds can be a problem for your pets, especially dogs. The most common places the grass seeds will likely be found are in between toes and in the ears. You can prevent your dog some discomfort by checking them all over when you return home from a walk, especially their feet. Remove any seeds that you find loose in their fur and be careful to look for any small wounds that may have been caused by the sharp tip of the seed. If you notice that your pet is shaking their head a lot then it could be a sign that there is something stuck in their ears. As usual, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your pets and their health. Have a brilliant summer!
